Goblin: The Lonely and Great God Review: Part 1

Annyeong Chingu!

Goblin is a fantasy romance about a modern day goblin (Gong Yoo) who seeks to end his cursed immortal life and needs a human bride (Kim Go Eun) to do so. His life then becomes intertwined with a grim reaper (Lee Dong Wook) who is unable to remember his past. But when the goblin finally finds his bride, he suddenly realizes he wants to live and be with her.

The protagonist of this drama, Goblin aka Kim Shin, is such an interesting character that you can't help but keep watching every episode to just know more about him. Keeping aside the undeniable good looks of Gong Yoo, he has shown some major acting skills in this drama.

The female lead, Goblin's bride aka Ji Eun Tak, is such an endearing character. One can't help but fall in love with her pretty smile and dimples. Her character development throughout the story is incredible.

And despite the serious and angsty scenes in the drama, her "Ahjussi Saranghe" (I love you Mister) remains the most loved scene.
